co-organized by Neuroimmunology Kyoto Conference 2010 Committee and Japanese Society of Neuroimmunology
-organized in conjunction with ICI 2010-
Welcome to Neuroimmunology Kyoto Conference 2010, pre-congress program of ICI 2010;
It is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in "Neuroimmunology Kyoto Conference 2010", which will take place in Kyoto from 18 to 21 August, 2010 in conjunction with International Congress of Immunology 2010 (ICI 2010).
This meeting is expecting relatively a small number of participants (approximately one hundred) who are actively doing cutting-edge research in Neuroimmunology. As distinguished scientists from all over the world have already agreed to participate, we are assured that the quality of the meeting will be of highest level.
Although invited lectures will make the core of the program, everyone who wishes to join us is welcome to submit an abstract. We will select excellent abstracts for oral presentation and give travel awards to a limited number of young researchers.
The meeting will cover basic, clinical and applied sciences related to the pathogenesis of neuroimmunological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis. The program consists of oral and poster sessions for EAE, pathogenic effector T cells, B cell autoimmunity, immunogenetics, novel treatments for multiple sclerosis and others.
The venue is located just across the imperial palace of Kyoto, which is surrounded by old history and culture of Japan. We will organize a sight seeing tour on August 21, and will bring you to Kobe by bus where ICI 2010 will take place. Please do not miss this unique opportunity in order to make your trip to Japan more meaningful and enjoyable.
Look forward to seeing you in Kyoto!!
